  Construction Products Marketing Associates was formed in 1986 to provide marketing research and consulting services to construction products and building materials manufacturers. Over the last twenty-one years CPMA has developed an industry reputation for tackling the problems unique to suppliers of construction-related products and services. Its solutions are market-driven, based on the success factors in each market and the competitive situation each client faces.

  CPMA's mission is clear - to help each building materials client develop and/or expand its sales and share in the markets in which it competes. CPMA works objectively, replacing emotional or intuitive decisions with independent evaluation and market intelligence. Further, it provides specific recommendations aimed at increasing the sales and profits of client products and services. The cost for CPMA services is controlled and sensible, assuring each client, large or small, a maximum return on its consulting investment.

  CPMA's revenues continue to grow every year. Since its inception CPMA has conducted in excess of $13 million in client-funded consulting. It remains the leading provider of marketing research and consulting services to the construction industry and its suppliers. During the last several years a much greater percentage of CPMA's work has reflected the growing trends toward global marketing. At least 15% of the volume each year involves looking at North American markets for Canadian, European or Pacific Rim clients. CPMA also has conducted several studies in Europe for U.S.-based companies.
